“Lumen Christi” means “Light of Christ.” Inspired by the Holy Week vigil at St. Bernard Novitiate, our apostolate handcrafts pure white beeswax candles right here in Jaro, Iloilo, Philippines. 100% of the proceeds from our candle sales directly support Our Lady of Consolation Church, an SSPX mission chapel in Jaro, Iloilo—funding chapel upkeep, liturgical expenses, and local apostolate work. Each white beeswax candle measures approximately 10–11 inches and contains a full 75% pure beeswax composition in strict adherence to the 1904 Decree of the Sacred Congregation of Rites.

At your option, your candles may be blessed beforehand by a priest in the traditional Old Rite free of charge, or delivered unblessed so your local parish priest may bless them.

O Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, bless ✠ these candles at our request. By the power of the holy cross, ✠ bestow a heavenly blessing on them, O Lord, Who didst give them to mankind to dispel the gloom. Empowered with the seal of thy holy cross, ✠ let the spirits of darkness depart trembling and fly in fear from all places where their light shines, and never more disturb nor molest those who serve thee, the almighty God, Who livest and reignest forevermore. ℟. Amen.
They are sprinkled with holy water.
